I'm Madesen, owner and operator of Furfilled Pet Services.

I’ve been working in the animal care industry for over a decade now in a variety of ways - at a multi-animal boarding facility, a busy dog daycare, and the SPCA. I started Furfilled in order to offer valuable enrichment services to pet owners for their furry family members. I know that everyone has busy schedules, and truly take pleasure in being able to provide your pets with the extra attention that they deserve throughout the day!

Furfilled Pet Services promises to provide:

  • Honest, ongoing communication
  • Responsible and careful handling of your pets
  • Plenty of fun and enrichment!

Group Hike

Yes!

We know that everyone wants to be kept in the loop on what their pets are up to. We post photos and videos on Furfilled's Instagram and Facebook pages so you can see your furry family members on their adventures! Anything concerning will be communicated immediately so that we can decide on the next steps.

A meet and greet is an important first step!

An initial meet and greet is the first step to beginning services.

During a meet and greet, we will travel to your home to meet you and your pet(s). This allows us to start forming a relationship in person, and for us to get an idea of your pet's personality. We will discuss their habits, behaviours, medical concerns - anything and everything that is important for us to know and to decide what services will suit them best! There is no charge for a meet and greet.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

We ask that you please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you will be cancelling a service. Last minute cancellations will be charged the full service fee.

Services may need to be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are extreme.

Although we do go out rain or shine, there are circumstances where we may need to adjust service bookings due to weather. In severe heat or cold, services will either be shortened or cancelled. Services may also need to be cancelled if there is heavy rain, snow, hail, etc. We always have our eyes on the weather forecast and try to give as much notice as possible.

As long as road conditions allow for safe travel, we can still drop by to let your dog(s) out for a short walk or pee break.

Payment requirements are as follows:

For walks, hikes, and drop-ins, payment must be received by the end of the day that the service occurred. There is also the option to settle up at the end of the month for recurring services.

Nail trims must be paid for in person at the end of the service.

Payment is accepted in cash or by e-transfer.
